Grand Master's Holiday Message

My Brethren, ladies and friends of Masonry in New York ...

By now you have probably received the Holiday issue of The Empire State Mason Magazine and I hope you have had a chance to read it. It contains many pictures and articles pertaining to our travels this past year, a great many events recorded by our Brethren and Lodges throughout the state and our annual Holiday Message.

Nevertheless, I am delighted to have this additional opportunity to electronically forward our greeting to you and your loved ones on behalf of Ginny and myself, Gail and DGM RW Jim Sullivan, and our entire Grand Line, as we are now so very close to the celebration of Chanukah and Christmas and the New Year 2012.

It is always good to look back and reflect upon what has happened and to plan for what is to come. In doing this, as Masons, we always ask the Great Architect to look favorably upon what we have accomplished and to guide us in our every undertaking. It is in this spirit that I send this message to you with the sincere hope that you and all of those you love enjoy the very best of all holiday seasons and that we all have a very happy and a very healthy New Year. Again, in the spirit of this season of family and love, we pray for peace. We ask God's Blessings on the men and women of our armed forces past and present, our first responders, and for you and those you cherish. God Bless this great fraternity we call Freemasonry and God Bless the United States of America!

So mote it be.

Fraternally,

MW VINCENT LIBONE
Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York
