AGL September Word Article

As the summer comes to an end it is time to begin again our Labors in the Quarries of Freemasonry.  I want to start by reiterating that as your District AGL's we are here to assist your lodges both learn and exemplify our wonderful Ritual correctly, all you need to do is let us know how we can best assist you.  We are both looking forward to rolling our shirt sleeves up and assisting you however we can.  Our Brothers from the Onondaga District have long been regarded as some of the better ritualists in our State. As we have traveled our District we are always encouraged by seeing the ritual work being done by some of our lodges; especially the enthusiasm displayed by our young Brothers in their desire to learn our Ritual. It is our hope that this will become contagious; thereby bringing all our lodges to a level where they can do all the parts of our degrees without outside help.  Working together this can be achieved.

We are once again going to be putting together a list of Brothers throughout our District who can help other lodges if needed with certain parts of the Ritual during degrees.  If you are interested please contact us with what parts you can do and your contact information. My Brothers what better way to build the ties of fellowships & brotherly love in our district than by helping each other when in need.

On another note, we would like to inform you that the Grand Lecturer's Convention will be held on October 3rd at the Memorial Masonic Center in North Syracuse.  Details are still being worked out regarding the menu and the reservation process.  A mailing with more information will be sent to the Master and Secretary of each lodge as soon as it becomes available.

My Brothers we are truly honored and enthusiastic to serve the Brethren and Lodges of our District as your AGL's and we are confident that together we can accomplish great things in how we exemplify our Ritual.  May the Great Architect Bless You all along with our Service Men & Woman Protecting us in Foreign Lands.
